Mission & Outreach

Here you will find ways in which we seek to engage with the needs of the world and our community.

Please get in touch if you would like to get involved.

Food Poverty
and Food Waste

We support the work of Bridgend FoodBank as well as the Big Bocs Bwyd based at Garth Primary School and Cwmfelin Primary School.

If you find yourself struggling to purchase food due to financial hardship, please get in touch with a member of the clergy who can signpost you to available services.

Christmas Appeals

Over the Christmas Period we help to supply meat vouchers to those in financial hardship. This work is carried out alongside the Llynfi Valley Council of Churches.

We also help to support families struggling to purchase Christmas gifts for their children. With the help of the Salvation Army we have supported a number of families across the Ministry Area.

Charitable Giving

We support a number of charities throughout the year including the Wallich, Cancer Research, the Wales Air Ambulance, Rotary Shoebox Appeal etc.

Children & Young People

Our Sunday schools continue to meet regularly. We also work closely with the schools in our area.

We believe that Young Faith Matters and strive to support Children and Young People in their faith journey.

In the Community

We aim to be present in our community as a sign of God's presence.

This includes being present at community events wherever possible.

We take an active role in our remembrance day services and aim to be a visible reminder of God's presence and love in our community.
